The NSW Government committed $73 million to the Macksville Hospital development to build a new facility on a new site.
In late 2017 it was announced that the hospital would be built on a new site located three kilometres north of the Macksville town centre.
The Macksville Hospital Development planning approval from the NSW Department of Planning and Environment was received in March 2019 and construction commenced.
Quad Electrical provided the electrical contractor with a modular solution for the new hospital precinct at the Macksville District Hospital.
The new Macksville Hospital was opened to the public on 26th May 2020.
