The Costa tomato farm is in Guyra, a small town situated midway between Armidale and Glen Innes on the Northern Tablelands in the New England region of NSW. Their tomatoes are grown in one of Australia’s largest and most advanced glasshouse facilities.
To accommodate their continued business growth, Guyra’s Costa tomato farm, they began a second expansion project. Already the largest in the Southern Hemisphere, this multimillion dollar expansion will increase their production area by 33 per cent. The result will be expanding from 10 hectares of glasshouse to 40 hectares as well as a 2.5 hectare propagation nursery.
Quad Electrical have built multiple custom switchboards for Stage 1 and Stage 2 developments of the Costa Tomato Farm including a gas powered Co-generation plant.
